P- 2232 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN BENEFITS TO CERTAIN <br /> EMPLOYEE OF THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> Whereas, the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners ("Port"), has adopted terms and conditions regarding the <br /> eligibility of Port employees for post employment benefits other than pension <br /> benefits. <br /> Whereas, the Port has spent considerable time and effort to locate a <br /> suitable employee for the position of Manager of Finance and Administration. <br /> Whereas, the Port desires to hire an employee, Rajesh Sewak, who was <br /> previously an employee of the City of Redwood City. <br /> Whereas, because of the unique position of Manager of Finance and <br /> Administration at the Port and the new employee's unique experience, the Port <br /> desires to provide certain benefits to the new employee. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> PORT OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The terms and conditions of employment set forth in the Employment <br /> Letter dated May 5, 2014, by the Port to Rajesh Sewak are approved. <br /> 2.
