She wanted to thank them for the work <br /> they do and appreciates them. <br /> Vice Mayor Foust also thanked the organizations. She also specifically spoke about <br /> affordable housing in Redwood City and that Habitat for Humanity, in the last 24 years, <br /> has built over 210 homes and 52% are in Redwood City. She acknowledges that this is <br /> something the community can be proud of, but more work needs to be done for <br /> affordable housing. She thanked all the groups and Habitat for Humanity. <br /> Mayor Gee expressed thanks and mentioned the multiplier or leverage factor. He <br /> thanked all the organizations for their help, especially when it came to the two fires on <br /> Woodside Road. <br /> M/S Foust/Seybert to adopt the resolution without Casa de Redwood.
