Motion carried 6-0 by roll call vote. <br /> One Council Member concurred with Chair Wright that she was in awe of the work <br /> done, with so little work, and help the neediest. She wanted to thank them for the work <br /> they do and appreciates them. <br /> Vice Mayor Foust also thanked the organizations. She also specifically spoke about <br /> affordable housing in Redwood City and that Habitat for Humanity, in the last 24 years, <br /> has built over 210 homes and 52% are in Redwood City. She acknowledges that this is <br /> something the community can be proud of, but more work needs to be done for <br /> affordable housing. She thanked all the groups and Habitat for Humanity. <br /> Mayor Gee expressed thanks and mentioned the multiplier or leverage factor. He <br /> thanked all the organizations for their help, especially when it came to the two fires on <br /> Woodside Road. <br /> M/S Foust/Seybert to adopt the resolution without Casa de Redwood. Motion carried <br /> 6-0 by electronic vote with Council Member Bain absent. <br /> M/S Aguirre/Howard with Foust recused and abstained on Casa de Redwood City. <br /> Motion carried 5-0 with Vice Mayor Foust recused and Council Member Bain <br /> absent. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Adopt a resolution to approve the fiscal year 2014-15 Annual Action Plan (Action <br /> Plan) and authorize the City Manager to execute and file documents related to the <br /> Action Plan for submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development <br /> (HUD). <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15337 APPROVING ANNUAL ACTION PLAN OF THE CONSOLIDATED <br /> PLAN (2014-2015) AND APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE (COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS); <br /> CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY HAS FOLLOWED ITS ADOPTED CITIZEN PARTICIPATION <br /> PLAN; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND FILING OF ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING <br /> THERETO (FISCAL YEAR 2014-2015) <br /> 2.
