Officer Marshall said it had been a great tour of duty with Karlo (who looked great and appeared to enjoy the ceremony), and let everyone know that Karlo was enjoying his retirement as a member of the Marshall family. Lynda Daniels, 578 Shoal Circle, thanked the members of the Council and City Manager Everett for attending the recent Redwood Shores Homeowners Association meeting, and asked that the Council install a stop sign at Shearwater and Shoal. (100) Mayor Hartnett referred this matter to the Traffic Advisory Committee and asked staff to monitor it. MEMO 2/13/96 C. Wayne Wedgeworth, 921 N. Idaho, representing the Redwood City Tribune, referred to Consent Calendar Item 3.H. designating the Redwood City Almanac as the City's official newspaper. Mr. Wedgeworth advised the Council that he had become aware a Redwood City employee had a "working interest" with the Redwood City Almanac, and he wanted to be sure there was no conflict of interest nor appearance of impropriety.
