Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program 1995-96, request for Change Order No.1 (304) REPORT: City Engineer, February 26,1996 In response to Council questions, City Manager Everett said that in this case staff did it right. He described the sidewalk improvement program's ten-year cycles, and how each area of the City has different needs which require staff "to average" improvements year to year. Some year's projects do not require the entire amount set aside for the scheduled improvements and those funds are rolled over into the next year's project areas. The funds for this on-going program are approved by Council on a yearly basis in the C.1.P. budget. In response to Council questions, City Manager Everett advised that staff was very pleased with the work of the contractor; and, repairs on Rolison Road would not include the City's property which is slated for rehabilitation work. Reimbursement Agreements for Relocating Fiber Optic Cable Systems for the Jefferson Avenue Underpass Project (304) REPORT: City Engineer, February 26, 1996 Mayor Hartnett described the project and stated the reimbursement funds would come ITom the State of California and the County's Measure A funds that were already allocated to this project; and, the City's budget for the project had included the reimbursement funds.
