7.1.A. - Page 13 <br /> COUNTY OF SAN MATEO Agreement No. 45000-18-11001 <br /> AGREEMENT WITH INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR Milt"A" <br /> Agreement between the County of San Mateo and City of Redwood City <br /> Use Additional Sheets as Necessary <br /> I.Description of Services to be Performed by the Contractor <br /> Contractor (City of Redwood City) shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision necessary to <br /> provide complete and continuous care of all lawn, trees, shrubs, and ground covers, for ongoing maintenance and other landscaping <br /> services at Garfield School Playing Fields as per attached Proposal(Exhibit "B"). Contractor shall submit a cost report to the County <br /> for any additional work needed. The County and Contractor shall agree to the scope and cost of any additional work and the <br /> additional work shall be authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or his designated representative before said work is <br /> performed. <br /> Contractor shall walk the entire site each month with a County representative to ensure that all operations are being completed in a <br /> satisfactory manner. <br /> Contractor shall obtain all licenses and permits required by city,county and state authorities. <br /> The term of this Agreement is for July I, 2012 to June 30, 2014 a twenty-four month period at the fees quoted on the attached <br /> Proposal dated July 30,2012. <br /> II.Amount and Method of Payment <br /> Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County Agreement number,complete scope of work, <br /> specific work completed,number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. <br /> In any event,the total payment for services on Contractor(City of Redwood City)shall not exceed$68,428.00(Sixty Eight Thousand <br /> Four Hundred Twenty Eight Dollars and No/00) attached proposal (Exhibit "B").
