ATTACI-7.3.E. - Page 3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING REVISED <br /> ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 14750 and 14876 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, those certain documents entitled, "Standard Technical <br /> Specifications", "City Standard Details", and "Design Criteria", effective December <br /> 4, 2006, and its partial revision dated July 21, 2008, collectively described as <br /> "Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City", have been revised by staff <br /> in order to meet current City and State Codes and to contain the latest technology <br /> in materials and methods of construction of public works projects; and <br /> WHEREAS, revisions to the Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood <br /> City are summarized in Attachment A — Engineering Standards Summary of <br /> Revisions — June 23, 2014. And a complete set of the three volumes is available <br /> for review at the City Clerk's office; and <br /> WHEREAS, the draft of the revised Engineering Standards for the City of <br /> Redwood City, has been reviewed by the appropriate members of City staff. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the revised Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City <br /> dated June 23, 2014, and in the file with the City's Office of Engineering and <br /> Transportation, are hereby approved and adopted as the minimum standard <br /> specifications for the construction of public improvements in the City of Redwood <br /> ATTY/RESO.2990/CC UPDATED ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR PUBLIC&PRIVATE IMPROVEMENTS <br /> REV:06-12-14 VR <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
