There is a CD with the <br /> revised three volume set available for review at the City Clerk's <br /> office. <br /> VOLUME III - DESIGN CRITERIA <br /> PART VI. SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM DESIGN (Public and Private) <br /> Cleanout location changed to public right of way instead of private <br /> property. Minimum slopes for different pipe diameters are given. <br /> Sewer mains shall be designed for flow at 3/ of pipe diameter <br /> instead of 2/3. Maximum design velocity shall be 10 feet per <br /> second. Maintenance obligations are explained. 6. Calculations <br /> for d/D, velocity, and pipe flow rate shall be submitted to the City for <br /> review. And property owners must maintain the cleanout and the <br /> pipe beyond the cleanout from the cleanout to the building. <br /> PART VII. WATER SYSTEM DESIGN CRITERIA <br /> G. CATHODIC PROTECTION. Water systems in areas east of <br /> El Camino Real shall, in addition to other coatings called for <br /> in the specifications, have cathodic protection using a <br /> sacrificial anode system Petrolatum Wax Tape System for <br /> isolated fittings and restraining devices. Otherwise, <br /> Cathodic Protection Anode shall be used as called for in the <br /> Engineering Standards Specification Section 02661 <br /> "Cathodic Protection" and in the Engineering Standard Detail <br /> W-14 "Cathodic Protection at Fittings and Valves". <br />
