. _...___..��._ .. _ _ ��..... �..._.. �_ <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Itemized List of what Consultant will do for City and at what price and schedule. <br /> Task1: PROJECT INITIATION AND DATA GATHERING <br /> (Encompasses Tasks B.1, B.2, B.3) <br /> 1-A: Kickoff Meeting (D�B). Prepare for and participate in a kickoff meeting with City <br /> staff to finalize the work program and schedule, define the Community Engagement <br /> Program and stakeholders, clarify roles and responsibilities, and meet with other City <br /> departments and officials who may be involved in the Planned Development Permit <br /> Regulations effort. This will include a meeting with City staff to get an overview of the <br /> City's permit review processes and their understanding of the issues regarding Planned <br /> Devetopment Permits. As part of the kickoff meeting, the Consultant Team will tour the <br /> City with Staff and become familiar with the physical details of planned development <br /> projects in Redwood City. <br /> 1-B: Community Engagement Program (D&B). A Community Engagement Program <br /> will be developed in coordination with City staff, designed to integrate with the City's <br /> existing outreach programs. The Community Engagement Program will outline topics <br /> and estimated dates for all public meetings and workshops, as well as strategies for <br /> noticing, communication, and a project website. <br /> 1-C: Existing Data Gathering (City staf�. Gather background data, including relevant <br /> guidelines and Code sections which pertain to Planned Development Permits. <br /> Assemble a representative set project plans to review how specific standards and <br /> design guidelines are applied and what conditions of approval are being used for site- <br /> specific issues. <br /> 1-D: Stakeholder Interviews (D8�B). Prepare for and participate in one day of <br /> stakeholder interviews. City staff will be responsible for identifying and coordinating the <br /> interviews which should represent a balanced group of people/organizations who are <br /> familiar with land use and development in Redwood City. Issues identified by <br /> stakeholders will be classified and sorted to identify common themes and shared <br /> concerns, organized by topic, and will be included in the Technical Memorandum <br /> described in Task 2. <br /> 1-E: Project Website (D&B). Provide information for the City's website, including text, <br /> photographs, maps, renderings, and information to describe the project and explain the <br /> process. As an optional task, we will create and host a project specific website which <br /> will link directly to the City's website. The project scope and schedule, upcoming public <br /> participation opportunities, and completed products will be placed on the project website <br /> as they are developed.
