CGM:jp 11/16/79 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 844 ) <br />NOV 1s1979 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE <br />CITY OF SAN CARLOS FOR WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN LINE <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City wishes to install, operate and main- <br />tain a water transmission main line through a portion of San <br />Carlos to facilitate improved water service to the Redwood <br />Shores area of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, San Carlos is willing to permit such installation, <br />operation and maintenance of a water transmission main line by <br />Redwood City within its jurisdiction subject to certain <br />conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br />to enter into an agreement with San Carlos so that Redwood <br />City will be able to install, operate and maintain a water <br />transmission main line through a portion of San Carlos; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement (Redwood Shores <br />Water Transmission Main Line)" (form dated 11/14/79), by and <br />between the City of Redwood City and the City of San Carlos, <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br />particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is <br />hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute the agreement approved herein for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />8 Ai4 <br />
