-+ _.__ ABATEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT The SAN MATEO COUNTY MOSQU(TO AND VECTOR CONTROL DtSTRICT("District")and CITY OF REDWpOD CITY("Owner")agree as follows: l. The District will perform abatement services for the Owner's problem site as described below. The District will,as reasonably necessary, develop and implement mosquito surveillance and control activities with its own personnel, materials and equipment at the problem site. 2. Problem site: The catch basin storm drain system in the presently developed areas of Red�vood Shores. 3. Owner shall reimburse District man-hours�50.00 dollars per man-hour and material costs not to exceed a total of$40,000. The District wil) bil)Owner for actual services and materials rendered. Owner wi(1 pay for such services within 30 days of receipt of each bill 4. The occurrence of any unusual problems that would require additional manpower,equipment and materials,will necessitate a change order as an addendum to this agreement. It is understood that any changes would be mutual(y agreed to prior to the initiation nf the order. All additional costs related to change orders would be negotiated separately. 5. This agreement shal! be effective July 1,2014 through June 30,2015. Either party may terminate the agreement upon 30 days written notice to the other party, 6. During the term of this agreement both contracting parties specifically waive the right to use the abatement procedures set farth in Health and Safety Code Sections 2060-2067, inclusive. 1N WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties execute this Agreement this�day of ,2014.
