RESOLUTION NO. 14-11 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY DENYING THE APPEAL OF GARY KAF AND <br /> UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR <br /> APPROVING USE PERMIT NO. UP2013-34 AND ARCHITECTURAL <br /> PERMIT NO. AP2013-79 FOR 2325 EUCLID AVENUE <br /> WHEREAS , the Applicant, Epic Wireless on behalf of Verizon Wireless, filed an <br /> application to install an unmanned back-up generator on the west side of the property <br /> for an existing unmanned telecommunication facility located at 2325 Euclid Avenue, <br /> Redwood City, California ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Zoning Administrator is authorized to review and act upon such <br /> application in accordance with Redwood City Zoning Ordinance Article 38; and <br /> WHEREAS , on April 9, 2014, the Zoning Administrator conducted a duly noticed <br /> public hearing , in accordance with all applicable requirements of the State Planning and <br /> Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to consider approval of Use <br /> Permit Application No . UP2013-34 and Architectural Permit Application No . AP2013-79, <br /> and received and considered oral and documentary evidence on the application ; and <br /> WHEREAS , on April 18, 2014, the Zoning Administrator issued a Notice of <br /> Official Action for Use Permit Application No . UP2013-34 and Architectural Permit <br /> Application No . AP2013-79, approving the project as submitted ; and <br /> WHEREAS , on May 5, 2014, an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's decision to <br /> approve the Use Permit and Architectural Permit was filed with the City Clerk by the <br /> Applicant; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 20 , 2014 , a public hearing notice was mailed to interested <br /> parties and all property owners within 300 feet of the Property, and published in The <br /> Redwood City Daily News June 21 , 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS , on July 1 , 2014, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood <br /> City held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of <br /> the State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance , to <br /> consider the appeal ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 1 , 2014 , the Appellant and all other interested parties were <br /> given the opportunity to participate in the public hearing through oral testimony and the <br /> submittal of written comments; and <br /> ATTY/RES0.2997/PC RESO FOR 2325 EUCLID <br /> REV: 07-15-14 VR <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
