MSR:dp: 2/2/78 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 7 994 FEB 6 1978 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR CERTAIN SERVICES , WORK AND <br /> REIMBURSEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH WOODSIDE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS <br /> (TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEMS AND SAFETY LIGHTING) <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Redwood City and the State of California <br /> contemplate the construction of certain improvements and changes <br /> along Woodside Road in the City of Redwood City, including, but <br /> not limited to, the construction of certain safety lighting and <br /> traffic control system improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS , there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> an agreement providing for certain services, work, and reimburse- <br /> ment to be provided by the State in connection with said improve- <br /> ments , in return for which the City shall perform certain services <br /> and provide certain funding, all as set forth in said agreements; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said agreement and <br /> authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (bearing the <br /> designation "District Agreement No. 4-0629-C" ) , by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California, and the State of California, acting by and through <br /> its Business and Transportation Agency, Department of Transporta- <br /> tion, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> particulars thereof , is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br /> the City of Redwood City. <br /> 7 9 9 4 <br />
