11/03/2014 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15377 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCfL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND <br /> SALARY PLAN TO ADJUST THE SALARY _ <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the salary of the <br /> Communications Supervisor be adjusted in order to maintain an equitable internal <br /> alignment with subordinate classifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications: were reviewed and amended by <br /> Human Resources staff in consultation with Police Department, to ensure the <br /> foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted a salary survey and internal <br /> alignment analysis, and met and conferred with the Redwood City Management <br /> Employees Association (RCMEA), reaching agreement on the recommended salary <br /> range of$8,385 —$10,062 monthly. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
