����f��� <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> AGREEMENT WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY GREATER SAN FRANCISCO <br /> FOR FUNDS TO ACQUIRE 612 JEFFERSON AVENUE <br /> HIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> 2015, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CI , a charter <br /> city and nicipal corporation of the State of Califomia {"City") and HABITAT <br /> FOR H MANITY GREATER SAN FRANCISCO, a Califomia nonprofit <br /> organization ("Contractor'; collectively the "Parties"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 570.201 of the Code of Federal <br /> Regulations for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) <br /> Program, funding assistance may be used to fund eligible activities to be carried <br /> out by private non-profit entities which are duly organized to undertake affordable <br /> housing development or public agencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, in consideration for providing the CDBG funds or the use of <br /> the proceeds thereof, Contractor has agreed to record certain Affordability <br /> Covenants in the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A" (the NAffordability <br /> Covenants")on the Property, which Affordability Covenants shall provide that the <br /> Project will be CDBG-assisted and restricts the sale of each unit to low income <br /> first time homebuyers such that this Project remain continuously affordable to low <br /> income persons for specified period of time; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Consolidated Plan and Housing Element goals <br /> include expanding the supply of affordable housing; and <br /> REV:02-05-15 VR <br /> Page i of 33 <br /> ATi'Y/AGR.2015.025/Habitat for Humanity GSF Jefferson Site Acquisition <br />
