02/23/2015 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15393 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY TO THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION <br /> COMMISSION REQUESTING APPROVAL FOR EXTENSION OF <br /> WATER SERVICE OUTSIDE JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES <br /> PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 56133 <br /> WHEREAS, the property located at 862 Sweeney Avenue (APN 054-083-170) <br /> (the "Property"), Unincorporated San Mateo County, California is outside the City's <br /> jurisdictional boundaries, but inside City's sphere of influence and water service area; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the existing warehouse at 862 Sweeney Avenue (APN 054-083-170) <br /> is currently receiving water supply from a contiguous property on the back lot, at 865 <br /> Douglas Avenue, that belongs to the same owner and is served by Redwood City <br /> Water; and <br /> WHEREAS, San Mateo County Building Department is processing a building <br /> permit to legalize the buildings in the Parcel; and � <br /> WHEREAS, San Mateo County Building Department required the owner to <br /> obtain a new water connection to the Parcel from Redwood City Water; and <br /> WHEREAS, the pipeline currently serving 862 Sweeney Avenue from 865 <br /> Douglas Avenue will be physically disconnected and removed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Property owner has requested that the City of Redwood City <br /> provide water service to the Parcel; and <br /> WHEREAS, this project is exempt from State CEQA Guidelines.
