Kiser Redwood City 2020 400 Duane Street,Room 125 Redwood City, CA 94062 Dear Jana, Shinnyo-en Foundation (the "Foundation") is pleased to inform you that its Board of Directors has approved a grant to Redwood City 2020 (the "Grantee") for forty-five thousand, seven-hundred and fifty dollars ($45,750.00) for one year. The goals (Exhibit A) and budget (Exhibit are attached. In order to assure compliance with applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, we must obtain the Grantee's written agreement to each of the following terms and conditions of this grant: (1) All of the grant funds are to be used for, and only for, the purpose of supporting the SPIN Shinnyo Fellow. Use of any portion of the grant funds, including any interest earned thereon, for any other purpose must have the priar written approval of the Foundation. (2) The grant funds must be used only in accordance with the budget submitted as part of your grant request, a copy of which is attached to this letter as Exhibit B. Any changes in the budget or any modifications to other grant conditions must be authorized by prior written approval of the Foundation. (3) Narrative report(s) and corresponding financial statement(s) must be furnished on the date(s) indicated herein on the progress made in accornplishing the purpose of the grant. Financial statements must describe the expenditures of the grant funds in accordance with the submitted budget. The final report and financial statement must be submitted within sixty(60) days after the expiration of the grant period and must account for the expenditure of all grant funds.
