� � ORIGINAL LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND CAHILL CONTRACTORS, INC. THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT (°qgreement") is entered into as �_ day of , 2015 (the "Effective Date"), by and befinreen THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a chart city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("CITY"), and CAHILL CONT CTORS, INC., a California corporation ("LICENSEE"). RECITALS A. CITY owns real property located at 707 and 777 Bradford Street, Califomia, as more particula�ly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference ("City Propert�')• B. CITY acquired the City Property from the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency, for the purpose of continuing the affordable housing redevelopmen#of the City Property. C. CITY remains committed to development of affordable housing on this site and is planning for a senior affordable housing project. In the interim, CITY does not currently use the Property for any particular purpose. D. CITY recognizes that there are currently short-term parking constraints arising from the pressure of new development in the Downtown. E. LICENSEE is the general contractor for the Indigo construction project ("Indigo Project"), a residential development located at 525 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, Califomia. F. The CITY is improving, including the subgrade of, the City Property for interim parking uses to meet specific demands until the City Property can be developed as anticipated. G. During construction of the Indigo Project, LICENSEE desires to use the Cit�r Property for construction worker vehicle parking. H. CITY has determined that the temporary use proposed by LICENSEE provides a common benefit to the Downtown area. I. CITY is willing to provide to LICENSEE a license to use the City Property for construction worker vehicle parking purposes during constru�tion of the Indigo Projed, all on the terms set forth herein. AGREEMENT NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: 1. Grant of License. Starting on r� (,��J � , 2015 (the °Commencement Date"), CITY confers to LICENSEE a revocable, personal, non-exclusive and non-possessory privilege to enter upon and use the City Property for the lim�ed purpose and subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions set forth in Sections 4 and 5, below.
