�ri�,n�,f <br /> � . <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> PENINSULA FAMILY SERVICE AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY/FAIR DAKS <br /> COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> This AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the day of <br /> 20��y and between Peninsula Family Service ("Agency") and CITY <br /> OF ED OOD CITY ("City") hereinafter referred to as the "Parties." <br /> SUBJECT: City's funding of the Agency for services provided by Agency at <br /> the City's Fair Oaks Community Center in the Amount Of$10,000. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City's Fair Oaks Community Center (FOCC) serves the Redwood <br /> City and North Fair Oaks Communities utilizing a model that brings together a <br /> combination of City, County, and non-profit agencies providing programs and <br /> services under one roof. Services and programs range from senior nutrition <br /> program to childcare program to shelter referrals for homeless to food assistance to <br /> legal assistance. The mission of the FOCC is to create community by providing <br /> facilities, personnel, and programs necessary to support and coordinate human <br /> services for populations within Redwood City and North Fair Oaks — supporting, <br /> educating, empowering, and serving as a bridge to resources for families and <br /> individuals in the community. <br /> B. Peninsula Family Service ("Agency") is the non-profit agency that <br /> provides older adult services at the Fair Oaks Community Center <br /> C. The City solicited and received a grant of $25,000 from Facebook to <br /> support older adult and early childhood education services at the Fair Oaks <br /> Community Center. <br /> D. The City desires to provide $10,000 of the Facebook grant to fund the <br /> Agency to provide nutrition and exercise classes at the Fair Oaks Community <br /> Center's Adult Activity Center. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual <br /> covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> ARTICLE I — BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES <br /> The City is providing funding to Agency specifically to maintain the Monday brunch <br /> program as well as a second day of Tai Chi classes at the Fair Oaks Adult Activity <br /> Center for Fiscal Year 2014/2015 in the amount of$10,000. <br /> 1. Term.
