If,in the future,your city's requirements change,we will
address those needs in an updated contract at the beginning of the next fiscal year to help avoid any budgetary
problems.
The"Abatement Services Agreement"is designed to support unique mosquito control problems that cannot be
handled within the scope of this District's normal program. It should be clearly understood that the residents of
Redwood City would continue to receive the same previous level of public health service,in addition to the extra
service provided by this agreement.District personnel will continue to respond to service requests on a daily basis
and to make routine inspections of numerous mosquito sources found in lagoons, marshes, fish ponds, utility vaults,
impounded waters and other fresh water sources. Appropriate action will be taken to control or elnninate these
mosquito problems,as they are located.Any questions regarding the treatment program should be directed to Brian
Weber,Assistant Manager.
This District operates pursuant to the statutory laws relating to mosquito abatement and pest abatement districts in
California Health and Safety Code,Division 3,Chapter 1, Section 2000—2910,inclusive.
