The sum o� Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000) is hereby appropriated �rom the unallocated, unbudgeted balance of the Special �a� Taa� Fund of the City of Redwood City for the purpose of all planning, engineering, praperty acquisition and construction, necessary or convenient for the im�rovement of Middlefield Road from its intersection with Charter Street to the Southern Pacific i2ailroad, Dumbarton Branch, in coopera- tion wi�ch and under the jurisdiction of the County of San Mateo, State of California. Such improvements shall be installed in accordance with the procedure set out in the Municipal Improve- ment Act of 1913, as initiated and carried out by the Board of Supervisars of 5an Mateo County, California, all in accordance with and subject to the terms and agreements set forth in that certain resolution of the Council. of the City of Redwood City, "Resolution No. �293 , Granting Consent to the Exercise of Extra Territorial Jurisdiction by the County of San Mateo and Providing for a Contribution �to the Cost of Improvements - Middlefield Road Improvements from its Intersection with Charter Street to the Southern Pacific Railroad, Dumbarton Branch. " SECTIOId 2.
