` . - - REG:yc:l/7/63-7 <br /> , <br /> .����s���,�, ���� ��� <br /> �$ ,r <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. <br /> OiZDINANCE Rc:QUIRING THE �ECURING OF A USE PERMIT FOR <br /> THE CONSTRUCTION OF ANY STRUCTU�E, OR THE ESTABLISH— <br /> MENT OF ANY USE, WITHIN A DESCRIBED AREA WITHIN THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, ADOPTED A� A TEMPORARY INTERIM <br /> , ZONING ORDINANCE, AND ADOPTED A� AN EME�2GENCY MEA5Ul2�, <br /> TO GO INTO EFFECT IMMEDIATELY <br /> WHEREA�, the Planning Department of the City of Redwood City <br /> has proposed a new comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of <br /> Redwood City and has conducted studies relative to the zoning of <br /> the hereinafter described area; and <br /> WHEi�EAS, the Planning Commission has proposed a schedule of <br /> hearings on the proposed Zoning Ordinance, which schedule anticipates <br /> that the public hearings will be completed by March 20, 1963, and <br /> the ordinance transmitted to the City Council for hearing and <br /> adoption; and <br /> WI�REAS, it has come to the attention of this Council that <br /> there is certain development proposed within the hereinafter <br /> described area which is not compatible with the uses anticipated <br /> under the proposed Zoning Ordinance; <br /> NOW, THEREFOt2E; <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDATN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION l. Each of the facts recited above are found to be <br /> true and correct and a matter of public record. <br /> SECTION 2. This Council f inds that the protection of the <br /> public safety, health and welfare requires the adoption of this <br /> temporary interi.m Zoning Ordinance pending final action on the <br /> proposed Zoning Ordinance recommended by the Planning Depar.�tment <br /> and being reviewed by the Planning Commission. <br /> SECTION 3. No structure shall be constructed or structurally <br /> altered, and no use shall be established, within the hereinafter <br /> described area except upon the securing of a use permit therefor <br /> in accordance with Section 21, et seq., of Ordinance No. 600, the <br /> ,;�:, <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance.
