RJC.ek 4/9/63-7 - .r, s-�+,Er"�� O R D I N A N C E N O. `"` `"'�� ORDINANCE RESTORING CONT.ROL AND JURISDTCTION OVER PORTION OF FORT AREA TO PORT DEFARTMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to subsection (4) of Sectian 47f of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Port Department has here- tofore transferred jurisdiction and control over a certain portion of the Port Area to the Council of the City of Redwood City for municipal purposes; and, 3+�HEREAS, this Council accepted such control and jurisdiction over said area; and, �REAS, the Board of Port Commissioners has requested that control and jurisdiction over t3ze:hereinafter described portion of said area be returned and retransferred to it so that it may reassume and re-exercise control and jurisdiction thereof and utilize the same for Port purposes; and, WHEREAS, it is found by this Council that such reversa,on and restoration of control and jurisdiction over the hereinafter described portion of real property to the Port Department is desirable and in the public interest; NOZ�T, THEREEORE; THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOIWS: SECTION l. That, in accordance with Section 47f, sub- section (4) , of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, control of and jurisdiction over the following described portion of real property, being a part of the �Port Area" as said area is defined by Section 50 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, be and the same is hereby surrendered and restored to the Port Department. SECTION 2. The territory referred to above, being a portion of the "Port Area'� of the City of Redwood City, is all that real property situate in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: ;:�� :� ;,W :'��
