QR6C 1��:�� <br /> GRANTAGREEMENT <br /> MIDPEN CITY CENTER PLAZA APARTMENTS REHABILITATION <br /> THIS GRANT AGREEMENT, made and entered into this �� day of <br /> 2015, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and <br /> munici al corporation of the State of Califomia ("City") and MEZES COURT <br /> ASSOCIATES ("MCA"), a Califomia Limited Partnership ("ContractorlOwner"; <br /> collectively with the City, the "Parties"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), <br /> Part 92.300 for the HOME Investment Partnership Act (HOME), within 24 months after <br /> the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) notifies the participating <br /> jurisdiction of HUD's execution of the HOME Grant Agreement, the participating <br /> jurisdiction must commit funds to eligible activities to be carried out by private non-profit <br /> entities, certain for profit entities or public agencies which are duly organized to <br /> undertake affordable housing development services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funds are reserved when a participating jurisdiction enters into a <br /> written agreement with Contractor; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor is the fee owner of certain real property located in the <br /> City of Redwood City including the property that is the subject of this agreement'and the <br /> improvements thereon, consisting of 80 units of affordable rental housing (the "Project") <br /> more particularly described in Exhibit "A" ("Program & Project Description"), attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services in the City of Redwood City, <br /> including through the project; and <br /> REV:08-14-15 RL <br /> Page 1 of 26 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2015.�176/MIDPEN City CenterApts Rehab <br />
