��'rcc�i �nc� � <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> REDWOOD CITY CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY/FAIR <br /> OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> This AGREEM NT is made and entered into as of the ?, � day of <br /> 20�by and between the Redwood City Child Development Program (" ency") <br /> ("Agency")and CITY OF REDWOOD CITY("City")hereinafter referred to as the"Parties." <br /> SUBJECT: City's funding of the Agency for services at the Fair Oaks Community Center in <br /> the Amount Of$15,000. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City's Fair Oaks Community Center(FOCC)serves the Redwood City and North <br /> Fair Oaks Communities utilizing a model that brings together a combination of City, County, and non- <br /> profit agencies providing programs and services under one roof. Services and programs range from <br /> senior nutrition program to childcare program to shelter referrals for homeless to food assistance to <br /> legal assistance. The mission of the FOCC is to create community by providing facilities, personnel, <br /> and programs necessary to support and coordinate human services for populations within Redwood <br /> City and North Fair Oaks—supporting, educating, empowering, and serving as a bridge to resources <br /> for families and individuals in the community. <br /> B. The Redwood City Child Developme�t Program ("Agency") is the non-profit agency <br /> that provides childcare and early childhood education services at the Fair Oaks Community Center <br /> C. The City solicited and received a grant of $25,000 from Facebook to support older <br /> adult and early childhood education services at the Fair Oaks Community Center. <br /> D. The City desires to provide $15,000 of the Facebook grant to fund the Agency to <br /> provide scholarships to families who would otherwise not be able to afford to have their children <br /> attend the Redwood City Child Development Program at the Fair Oaks Community Center. . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained <br /> herein,the Parties agree as follows: <br /> ARTICLE I—BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES <br /> The City is providing funding specifically to provide scholarships to families who earn more than the <br /> maximum eligible amount to receive a state childcare subsidy, but not enough to be able to pay full <br /> tuition for the Redwood City Child Development Program for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 in the amount of <br /> $15,000. <br /> 1. Term. Unless earlier terminated, the term of this Agreement is from July 1, 2015 to <br /> June 30, 2016. <br /> 2. Services. Agency shall provide the Services listed below ("Services") in <br /> consideration for receiving grant funding: <br /> a. Agency shall provide scholarships to a minimum of 4 families. <br /> b.
