RESOLUTION NO. 15-13 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DENYING THE APPEAL BY NANCY KROSSE ON BEHALF OF THE NEIGHBORS FOR SENSIBLE HILLSIDE DEVELOPMENT AND AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR APPROVING THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PD2012-02 FOR 3724 LAUREL WAY WHEREAS , the applicant, Con Brosnan , filed an application for a Planned Development Permit to develop a vacant lot at 3724 Laurel Way ("Property") and construct a new single-family residence thereon ("Project"), in accordance with Article 32 and 46 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS , on May 22 , June 5 and August 7, 2013 , the Zoning Administrator conducted duly noticed public hearings, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to consider Planned Development Permit PD2012-02 ("PD2012-02") and received and considered oral and documentary evidence on the applicant; and WHEREAS , on September 6 , 2013 , the Zoning Administrator issued a Notice of Official Action for PD2012-02 determining the project to be exempt from CEQA and conditionally approving the Project, subject to minor modifications and the Conditionals of Approval attached thereto ; and WHEREAS, on September 23 , 2013, an appeal of the decision was filed with the City Clerk by Nancy Krosse, on behalf of the Neighbors for Sensible Hillside Development ("NHSD") ; and WHEREAS, on December 17 , 2013, the Planning Commission conducted a duly noticed public hearing and , upon making alternative findings, upheld the appeal by Nancy Krosse, on behalf of NSHD and denied PD2012-02 for 3724 Laurel Way; and WHEREAS, on January 17 , 2014 the Planning Commission confirmed the final resolution affirming the Planning commission 's decision to uphold the appeal and deny PD2012-02 for 3724 Laurel Way; and At lY/RES0.3112/PC RESO APPROVING THE PD PERMIT REV: 08-20-15 VR Page 1 of 3
