RESOLUTION NO. 15-13 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY DENYING THE APPEAL BY NANCY KROSSE ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE NEIGHBORS FOR SENSIBLE HILLSIDE <br /> DEVELOPMENT AND AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING <br /> ADMINISTRATOR APPROVING THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br /> PERMIT PD2012-02 FOR 3724 LAUREL WAY <br /> WHEREAS , the applicant, Con Brosnan , filed an application for a Planned <br /> Development Permit to develop a vacant lot at 3724 Laurel Way ("Property") and <br /> construct a new single-family residence thereon ("Project"), in accordance with Article <br /> 32 and 46 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS , on May 22 , June 5 and August 7, 2013 , the Zoning Administrator <br /> conducted duly noticed public hearings, in accordance with all applicable requirements <br /> of the State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to <br /> consider Planned Development Permit PD2012-02 ("PD2012-02") and received and <br /> considered oral and documentary evidence on the applicant; and <br /> WHEREAS , on September 6 , 2013 , the Zoning Administrator issued a Notice of <br /> Official Action for PD2012-02 determining the project to be exempt from CEQA and <br /> conditionally approving the Project, subject to minor modifications and the Conditionals <br /> of Approval attached thereto ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 23 , 2013, an appeal of the decision was filed with the <br /> City Clerk by Nancy Krosse, on behalf of the Neighbors for Sensible Hillside <br /> Development ("NHSD") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 17 , 2013, the Planning Commission conducted a duly <br /> noticed public hearing and , upon making alternative findings, upheld the appeal by <br /> Nancy Krosse, on behalf of NSHD and denied PD2012-02 for 3724 Laurel Way; and <br /> WHEREAS, on January 17 , 2014 the Planning Commission confirmed the final <br /> resolution affirming the Planning commission 's decision to uphold the appeal and deny <br /> PD2012-02 for 3724 Laurel Way; and <br /> At lY/RES0.3112/PC RESO APPROVING THE PD PERMIT <br /> REV: 08-20-15 VR <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
