Anderson, Salter <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilman Sanfilipo <br /> INVOCATION: Pastor Dennis Logie <br /> First Christian Church <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 1. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Pete Hughes, 18 Admiralty Court, Redwood City, also speaking for his wife, Ginny, <br /> thanked Councilwoman Steinfeld for her courage under pressure, expressed his respect for <br /> her, and said that if she had run for re-election he and his wife Ginny would have <br /> supported her. Mr. Hughes described Councilman Sanfilipo as one of the smartest and <br /> brightest men in town who knew the City of Redwood City better than anyone else he <br /> knew, and offered his and Ginny's support in the future. Mr. Hughes called Mayor <br /> Gasparini their "little favorite" who had the two nicest parents in town. He stated if you <br /> wanted a job done, give it to Dani. Mr. Hughes wished Dani good luck with her new <br /> family, and asked her to come back to run for Anna Eshoo's seat next year.
