APPLICATIONS FOR ASSESSMENT ADJUSTMENT 1995-96 <br /> A. Appeals against the GID 1-64 assessment for the fiscal year 1995-96 <br /> REPORT: Director of Financial Planning, December 11, 1995 <br /> Financial Manager Somers presented the staff report, and introduced Charles Warren, <br /> ASA, the City's consultant who appraised the District lands. Mr. Warren derives the <br /> assessed valuations using the statistical mass appraisal method as developed by the <br /> California State Board of Equalization. Financial Manager Somers described the valuation <br /> and appeal processes, and advised that seven of the eight appellants negotiated with the <br /> City and reached agreement, and the eighth appellant withdrew her appeal. <br /> B. MIS: LA BERGE/HOW ARD TO ACCEPT THE REVISED APPRAISED VALUES AGREED <br /> TO BY THE CITY AND THE PROPERTY OWNERS <br /> CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO.
