ORDINANCE N0 . 759 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 327 PROVIDING FOR A SYSTEM FOR THE 'ASSESSP.TNT , TRVY AND COLLEC OF ALL CITY TAXES TION THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOW Section 1 . Ordinance No . 327 of the City of Redwood City passed and adopted by the Council thereof on July 20 , 1931 , as amended, entitled "Providing a System for the Assessment , Levy , and Collection of All City Taxes , " is hereby amended as follows : ( a ) Section 13 thereof is hereby amended follows : to read as Section 13 . Within seven ( 7 ) days after the receipt of the Assessment Rolls the City Collector must publish a notice specifying : 1 ) Taxes on all personal property secured by real property and one half of the taxes on all real property will be due and payable on the first ( 1st ) day of November and will be delinquent on the tenth ( 10th ) day of December next thereafter , at the hour of 5 o ' clock p . m. and that unless paid prior thereto , six per cent ( 6% ) will be added to the amount thereof . That the remaining one half of all taxes on real property will be due and payable on the first ( 1st ) day of February next , and will be delinquent on the tenth ( 10th ) day of April next thereafter at 5 o ' clock p . m. and that unless paid prior thereto , six per cent ( 6% ) will be added to the amount thereof ; that all taxes may be paid at the time the first install - ment is paid as provided herein . ( b ) Section 16 thereof is hereby amended follows : Section 16 . On the tenth ( loth ) day of D year at 5 o ' clock p . m. all taxes then unp the last installment of the real property delinquent , and thereafter the City Colle collect for the use of the City an additi per cent ( 6% ) thereon .
