MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />April 11, 2016 <br />MO. 16-058 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: April 12, 2016 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Public Works Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - 2015-2016 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Program <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1C (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority of <br />Redwood City on April 11, 2016. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain and <br />Mayor Seybert. <br />M/S Bain/Aguirre to approve the Consent Calendar. <br />By motion, (1) approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents <br />for the 2015-2016 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project and award the standard form <br />contract (00520) to Bay Area Paving, Inc. for its Responsive and Responsible Low Bid of <br />$377,750.00 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, <br />up to 10% of the amount awarded, not to exceed $413,325.00 and (2) authorize the City <br />Manager to extend and amend the Agreement up to four consecutive six-month terms, <br />wherein the total contract price may be increased up to 5% from the prior term <br />Motion carried by unanimously electronic vote. <br />vA KM4 'A%-) <br />62A <br />Silvia Vonderlinden <br />Municipal City Clerk <br />
