CGM : sh : 2/3 /77 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O . 7758 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> FEB 7 1977 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION REFERRING A PROPOSED AMENDMENT <br /> TO THE HISTORIC LANDMARKS ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br /> TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , <br /> RELATING TO SAFETY GOALS AND PRINCIPLES <br /> WHEREAS , this Council , pursuant to Minute Order 76 - 158 , <br /> adopted June 8 , 1976 , directed that a citizen task force prepare <br /> a written report and make recommendations as to the necessity <br /> and feasibility for changes to building regulations relating <br /> to minimum safety standards and criteria ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Historic Landmarks Element Task Force has <br /> presented revised safety goals and principles for building <br /> regulations for the Historic Landmarks Element of the General <br /> P lan to this Council ; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council desires to refer the aforementioned <br /> proposals of the Historic Landmarks Element Task Force to the <br /> P lanning Commission for its review and recommendations ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> That the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby <br /> refer the proposal of the Historic Landmarks Element Task <br /> Force , recommending an amendment to the Historic Landmarks <br /> E lement by revising safety goals and principles for building <br /> regulations , marked " Exhibit A , " to the Planning Commission <br /> for its review and recommendation . <br /> * <br /> 15 <br />
