R E S O L U T I O N N O . 7757 DES : yc : 2/ 7/ 77 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION REFERRING TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN CONSISTING OF THE ADDITION OF A HUMAN SERVICES ELEMENT TO SAID PLAN ORIGINAL FEB 7 1977 WHEREAS , the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City has forwarded to this Council a document entitled " Human Resources Policy " together with Appendices A-F thereto ; and WHEREAS , this Council desires that said documents be reviewed and referred to as a proposal for a Human Services Element of the General Plan of the City of Redwood City ; NOW , THEREFORE ; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , AS FOLLOWS : 1 . This Council hereby declares its intention to institute proceedings for the amendment of the General Plan of the City of Redwood directs prepare City by adding thereto a Human Services Element , and hereby the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City to such element in accordance with the provisions of Article XI ( commencing with § 18 . 60 ) of Chapter 18 of the Code of the City of Redwood City . 2 . In preparing the proposed Human Services Element as aforesaid , the Planning Commission is hereby directed to refer to , and review , that certain document entitled " Human Resources Policy " and Appendices A-F , inclusive , thereto heretofore forwarded by said Commission to this Council ; provided , however , that said Commission is hereby directed to prepare a proposed Human Services Element in a form consistent with the format and documentation of existing General Plan Elements ; provided , further , that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to preclude said Commission from making independent review and recommendations with respect to the aforesaid proposed Human Services Element . 7 i57
