ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Joseph Steinfeld, Main Street, Redwood City, commented on the application <br /> to the Planning Commission by Nick Watry, Architect for the Redwood City <br /> Parking Structure and possible other sites. Mr. Steinfeld stated that a <br /> conflict of interest exists now with Mr. Watry's membership on the <br /> Architectural Advisory Committee and would exist if he was appointed to <br /> the Planning Commission. <br /> Vice Mayor Claire explained the legal process whereby members of the <br /> Council, boards, committees and commissions, excuse themselves when <br /> there is a possibility of a conflict of interest. <br /> Vice Mayor Claire, through the Mayor, asked City Attorney Schricker to <br /> respond to the issue of Mr. Watry's status as a member of a committee or <br /> commission.
