ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR PROPOSED <br /> CHILD CARE FACILITY AT ORACLE FACILITIES <br /> (LCP ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this J~"~day of <br />,,, ~d~~~, 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />munic~al corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and LCP ASSOCIATES, <br />of Oakland, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Oracle (the "Developer") has submitted a proposal to <br />construct a child care facility at the existing Oracle facilities in the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of environmental <br />assessment is required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act <br />("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code ~21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines implementive <br />thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and the City's <br />regulations implementive thereof ("City's CEQA Regulations"; Resolution No. <br />6882, as amended); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's CEQA Regulations, City has determined <br />that said environmental assessment shall be prepared pursuant to contract <br />entered into with Consultant subject to funding therefor by the Developer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and <br />costs to be incurred pursuant to said Agreement; and <br /> <br /> <br />
