MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />October 17, 2016 <br />MO. 16-187 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: October 18, 2016 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Public Works Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Advanced Metering Infrastructure Software Services Agreement with <br />Sensus USA Inc. <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1J (304) <br />Meeting of the Special Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing <br />Authority of Redwood City on October 17, 2016. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain and <br />Mayor Seybert <br />M/S Aguirre/Borgens to approve the Consent Calendar except Agenda Item 6.1.G. <br />By motion (and affirmative vote of at least five Council Members of the Council) suspend <br />Purchasing Ordinance requirements and approve the sole source purchase request and-, <br />1. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement between the City of Redwood City <br />and Sensus USA Inc. for advanced metering infrastructure software as a service for a 5 -year <br />term in the amount of $165,001.23 and <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to renew the agreement for two additional 5 -year terms such <br />that the annual price does not increase more than 3% per year, or $169,256 and $196,214 <br />for the second and third terms respectively. <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br />Silvia Vonderlinden <br />City Clerk <br />
