<br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Youth and Family Enrichment Services <br /> Daybreak Shelter for Homeless Youth <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of , <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Youth and Family Enrichment Services <br />, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides transitional shelter for homeless youth; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objections), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, solely for the <br />purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits A (Budget) & B. <br />9/11/03 <br />. - - - -- -Y--' .. . ,--....- <br />
