12/12/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15543 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2015-2020 <br /> CONSOLIDATED PLAN CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY HAS <br /> FOLLOWED ITS ADOPTED CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND FILING OF ALL DOCUMENTS <br /> PERTAINING THERETO <br /> WHEREAS , the Consolidated Plan 2015-2020 was adopted by the City Council <br /> on May 4, 2015 by Resolution No . 15407; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the requirements of Section 104(a) of the Act, the City <br /> has followed its Citizen Participation Plan as part of the process for amending 2015- <br /> 2020 Consolidated Plan to reduce the five year plan to a three year plan; and <br /> WHEREAS , a 30-day Request for Citizen Comments on the draft amendments to <br /> 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan has been published for public comment prior to the <br /> Housing and Human Concerns Committee (HHCC) approving the amendments and <br /> recommending they be forwarded to Council for approval ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 16, 2016 , the Housing and Human Concerns <br /> Committee (HHCC) held a public hearing to accept public comments on the draft <br /> amendments to the 2015-2020 Consolidated ; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council desires to approve the amendment to the 2015-2020 <br /> Consolidated Plan and authorize the execution of all documents pertaining thereto, <br /> including all understandings and assurances connected therewith . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The amendments to the 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan, prepared for <br /> submission to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br /> Community Development Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community <br /> Development Act of 1974 , and the HOME Investment Partnership Grant pursuant to the <br /> National Affordable Housing Act of 1992 , copies of which as well as the Consolidated <br /> Plan are on file in the office of the Community Development Department of the City of <br /> Redwood City, are hereby approved . <br /> 2 .
