12/12/2016 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15548 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AND AMENDING THE SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR RCMEA <br /> AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES <br /> WHEREAS, The City and the Redwood City Management Employees Association <br /> (RCMEA) have reached agreement on a Successor Memorandum of Understanding for <br /> October 1 , 2016 — September 30 , 2018; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties agreed to amend the salary and wage plan by granting a <br /> 3% cost-of-living adjustment effective November 28, 2016 and a 3% cost-of-living <br /> adjustment effective October 2, 2017 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, unrepresented positions designated as confidential pursuant to <br /> Employer-Employee Relations Resolution , including Executive Assistant, Human <br /> Resources Analyst I/II , Management Analyst I/Il (when assigned to the City Manager's <br /> Office) , Principal Analyst — Worker's Compensation , and Senior Human Resources <br /> Analyst, receive benefits , compensation , and employment terms equivalent to RCMEA <br /> employees. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . Unrepresented employees in positions designated as confidential shall <br /> receive adjustments to benefits, compensation , and terms of employment equivalent to <br /> RCMEA Employees , as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding Between the City <br /> and RCMEA. <br /> 2. The City's salary and wage plan for RCMEA and Confidential employees <br /> will be amended as set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> 3 .
