DES:jsd3/13/68 <br />RES GLUT ION NO . 56J// <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF CAST IRON AND DUCTILE IRON PIPE FOR THE PERIOD <br />APRIL 1, 1968, THROUGH MARCH 31, 1969; AND, AUTHORIZING <br />CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br />specifications for the furnishing of cast iron and ductile iron <br />pipe to be used for municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, specifications for the type of, and estimated <br />amounts of, said material required for such period have been <br />prepared by the City Manager; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications for cast iron and ductile <br />iron pipe to be used for municipal purposes for the period April <br />1, 1968 through March 31, 1969, prepared by the City Manager and <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the furnishing of said material in accord- <br />ance with the specifications therefor, said advertisement to be <br />in the form of that certain notice of sealed bids set forth in <br />the above mentioned specifications. <br />
