DES:jsd:3/14/68 <br />RES OLUTION NO. 56VZ <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF <br />TWO LATEST MODEL AUTOMOBILES <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5623, adopted February <br />26, 1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br />two latest model, 8 cylinder, four -door sedan automobiles to <br />be used for municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and <br />filed with the City Manager for the furnishing of said equip - <br />menta and <br />WHEREAS, E -Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said E -Z DAVIES <br />CHEVROLET; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of E -Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, in the total net <br />delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Four Thousand <br />Two Hundred Fifty-five and 36/100 Dollars ($4,255.36), for <br />the furnishing of two latest model, 8 cylinder, four -door sedan <br />automobiles, in accordance with the specifications therefor, is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder for said equipment. <br />
