R E S O L U T I O N <br />DES.ek 3/11/68' <br />N 0. 50630 <br />RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTION OF ELM STREET, BETWEEN <br />SOUTHWESTERLY LINE OF HELLER STREET AND NORTHEASTERLY <br />LINE OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, CITY OF RED7900D CITY, IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND <br />HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing <br />at §8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of <br />the State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City by its Resolution No. 5601, adopted February 5, 1968, <br />declared its intention to vacate the hereinafter described por- <br />tion of Elm Street, and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate and abandon the <br />described portion of the above mentioned street has been pub- <br />lished and posted; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence <br />taken; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that there be pro- <br />vided a non -access strip one foot in width along Pennsylvania <br />Avenue in said portion of Elm Street to be abandoned, as herein- <br />after described; <br />NOR, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
