DES:yc:3/18/68 <br />RESOLUTION NO.563y <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS FOR MARINE WORLD PARKWAY - <br />SECTION 1 FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO <br />CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br />plans and specifications for the construction of landscape <br />improvements along Section 1 of Marine World Parkway for Redwood <br />City General Improvement District No. 1-64; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires <br />to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk <br />to advertise for bids for the doing of such work; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled "Documents and <br />Specifications - Landscape Improvements Ralston Parkway - <br />Section 1 (Marine World Parkway - Section 1) for Redwood City <br />General Improvement District No. 1-64" and those certain plans <br />entitled "Construction Drawings for Landscaping of Ralston <br />Parkway - Section 1 (Marine World Parkway - Section 1), prepared <br />by Daniel, Mann, Johnson, & Mendenhall, and on file in the office <br />of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the doing of such work in accordance with <br />the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement to be <br />in the form of that certain notice to contractors set forth in <br />the above mentioned specifications. <br />
