C,a, L <br />) prt <br />RESOLUTION NO. P- ggir u <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO U.S. <br />GOVERNMENT LEASE FOR REAL ESTATE — BERTHING <br />SPACE FOR THE VESSEL DAVID H. PETERSON <br />(USGS) <br />WHEREAS, the United States Government (`Government") entered into a <br />lease agreement (the "Lease") with the Port of Redwood City (the "Port") on or <br />about October 26, 2011, for the berthing of the vessel Polaris by the Government <br />at the Port; <br />WHEREAS, Government has requested an amendment (the <br />"Amendment") to the Lease. <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment (designated on the Lease as "MP — 30 <br />Amendment) provides in part that the vessel to be berthed by the Government at <br />the Port is the David H. Petersen. <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment further provides for an increase in the <br />berthing rent. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />The Amendment between the Government and the City of Redwood City, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, by and through its Board of <br />Port Commissioners, a copy of which Amendment is on file in the office of the <br />Port Executive Director and to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />—1- <br />Reso 245 <br />FXS/fs <br />10/28/16 rQ+� <br />
