<br /> SWC:sr 6/16/87 (# 6) <br /> SWC: s, 6/22/87R (# 6) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1950 <br /> JUL 6 1987 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.110 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR MEMBERS OF THE CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.110 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 2.110. Established; Composition; <br />Qualifications of Members. There is hereby established a <br />Civic Cultural Commission which shall consist of seven (7 ) <br />members appointed by the Council. At least four (4 ) such <br />members shall be persons active in, and representative of, <br />one or more of the following fields of endeavor: <br />architecture, industrial design, landscape architecture, <br />literature, music, painting, photography, sculpture, and <br />theater arts. At least one such member shall be a young <br />adult, and at least one such member shall be representative <br />of a minority ethnic group in the city. All such members <br />shall be persons who have demonstrated a deep interest in, <br />and appreciation of, artistic and cultural matters. All <br />such members shall, at the time of their appointment and <br />continuously during their incumbency reside within the city. <br /> SECTION 2.
