<br /> T)ES:djg-c 5/9/84 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1897 <br />JUN 4 1984 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AMENDING SECTION 2.130 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS OF <br />MEMBERS OF THE SENIOR AFFAIRS CO~rnISSION <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.130 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 2.130. There is hereby established a senior <br />affairs commission which shall consist of seven (7 ) members <br />appointed by the council. At least four ( 4) such members <br />shall be persons active in, and representative of, one or <br />more of the following fields of endeavor: <br />(a) Senior citizens' planning; <br />(b) Provision of senior citizens' services; <br />(c) Senior clubs or senior associations. <br /> At least one such member shall be representative of a <br />minority ethnic group in the city. All such members shall <br />be persons who have demonstrated a deep interest in, and <br />appreciation of, senior citizen matters within the city. <br />Not less than four (4 ) such members shall, at the time of <br />their appointment and continuously during their incumbency, <br />be residents and electors of the city." <br />SECTION 2.
