MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />Mav 8. 2017 <br />MO. 17-084 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: May 9, 2017 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />""hard copy available upon request" <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - 2016-2017 Sanitary Sewer and Watermain <br />Replacement Project <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.113 (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on May 8, 2017. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain, and <br />Mayor Seybert <br />M/S Aguirre/Gee to approve the Consent Calendar, excluding item 6A .A. <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents and <br />award the standard form construction contract 00520 for the 2016-2017 Sanitary Sewer and <br />Watermain Replacement Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Casey Construction Inc. <br />of Emerald Hills, California for their low bid of $5,673,488; and, authorize the City Manager <br />to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the original contract amount, not <br />to exceed $6,240,825.80; and find that the project is exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15302 <br />(Replacement or Reconstruction). <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br />�anyh�nQl.*) <br />Silvia Vonderlinden <br />City Clerk <br />
