MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />Mav 8. 2017 <br />MO. 17-090 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: May 9, 2017 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />City Clerk <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: City Council appointment to the Seniors Affairs Commission and the Complete <br />Streets Advisory Committee <br />AGENDA ITEM: 7.A (209) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority Meeting on <br />May 8, 2017. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain, and Mayor <br />Seybert <br />By roll call vote make appointments to fill 1) one unexpired seat on the Seniors Affairs Commission <br />that expires May 31, 2020; and, 2) two new seats on the Complete Streets Advisory Committee <br />(recently created by Resolution No. 15563) expiring May 31, 2019. <br />Council Member Masur recused herself from voting on item 7.A — City Council appointment to the <br />Senior Affairs Commission and the Complete Streets Advisory Committee due to an absence during <br />the Interview Session. <br />Senior Affairs Commission - one short term seat serving until May 31, 2020 by roll call vote: <br />`r Carey Mitchell (Aguirre, Gee, Howard, Bain and Seybert) <br />➢ Ruth Louise Rogers Silverman (Borgens) <br />The appointee is Carey Mitchell with five votes. Council Member Masur abstained from the <br />vote as she was not present at the interview session. <br />Complete Streets Advisory Committee — two new seats serving until May 31, 2020 by roll call <br />vote: <br />➢ Jason Galisatus (Aguirre, Borgens, Gee and Seybert) <br />➢ Jade Rosa (Aguirre, Borgens, Gee and Seybert) <br />The appointees are Jason Galisatus and Jade Rosa.
