P. 269 <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AMENDMENT TO <br /> LEASE AGREEMENT (AMENDMENT 7 (a) TO LEASE) <br /> (Portside Investors) <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1 . Public hearing having been duly noticed for, and held on <br /> April 26 , 2017, on the question of approval of the amendment to <br /> the lease, as hereinafter described, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 48a <br /> the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Board of Port Commissioners of the <br /> City of Redwood City does hereby approve that certain amendment <br /> ("Amendment 7 (a) to Lease") by and between the City of Redwood City, by and <br /> through its Board of Port Commissioners, and Portside Investors ("Lessee") to <br /> the lease agreement, as amended from time to time, (the "Lease") by and <br /> between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California , acting by and through its Board of Port Commissioners ("Lessor"), and <br /> Seaport Village North , Ronald Safren and George Safren, Portside Investors's <br /> predecessor in interest, entered into on or about April 23 , 1981 , amended on <br /> May 31 , 1984, and further amended from time to time, under which certain Port <br /> owned lands are leased to the Lessee, all subject to the terms, covenants, and <br /> conditions therein contained , and which Amendment 7 (a) provides that: (A) <br /> Building 4 of the leased premises may be used as general office and boating and <br /> Port/Ordinance/Portside 1 <br /> FXS:fs <br /> 04/06/17 <br />
