<br /> CGM:dp:l/30/78 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1743 FEB 27 1978 <br /> <br /> --------- - - <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 20.45.1 TO CHAPTER 20 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, DECREASING SPEED <br />LIMITS ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS FOR CERTAIN <br />DESIGNATED VEHICLES <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION l. Section 20.45.1 is hereby added to Chapter 20 <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br />"Section 20.45.1 It is hereby determined upon <br />the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation <br />that the speed permitted by state law upon the following <br />streets for a truck or truck tractor having three or <br />more axles or any truck or truck tractor drawing any other <br />vehicles is greater than is reasonable or safe under the <br />conditions found to exist upon such streets, for such <br />types of vehiclesand it is hereby declared that the prima <br />facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth on those <br />streets or parts of streets herein designated when signs <br />are erected giving notice thereof for such types of vehicles: <br /> Name of Street or Declared Prima <br /> Portion Affected Facie Speed Limit <br />" (a) Marine World Parkway, between 25 MPH <br /> Shoreway Road and Bridge Parkway <br />" (b) Bridge Parkway, between Marine 25 MPH <br /> World Parkway and Redwood Shores <br /> Parkway <br />" (c) Redwood Shores Parkway, between 25 M.PH" <br /> Bridge Parkway and Shell Parkway <br />SECTION 2.
