<br /> DES:djk 07/07/94 (009/34) <br /> o RIG I N A L 7/18/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12243 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR OPERATION AND ~1AINTENANCE OF FAIR OAKS <br /> COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City undertook to establish a <br />facility known as the Fair Oaks Community Center ("Center" ) which <br />facility provides various services, including community human <br />services activities and library facilities, to that area located <br />within and adjacent to the City and known as the Fair Oaks Target <br />Area; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has requested from the County of San Mateo, <br />and said County is willing to contribute, funds toward the <br />operation and maintenance of the Center in recognition of the use <br />of said Center by residents of the unincorporated area within the <br />Fair Oaks Target Area; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain agreement by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, entitled "Agreement <br />Between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City for <br />Operation and Maintenance of the Fair Oaks Community Center", a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereto, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City <br />Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to <br />attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br />
