'18/94 (026/36) <br /> ORIGIN,lI,L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12204 <br /> <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH GREAT WESTERN BANK FOR ADMINISTRATION OF <br /> A DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City heretofore has established <br />a Deferred Compen-:;ation Plan (the "p 1 an " ) pursuant to and in <br />compliance with Section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code, as <br />amended; and <br /> WHEREAS, Great Western Bank has served since 1986, as an <br />administrator of the Plan pursuant to an agreement with the City; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into a new agreement <br />with Great Western Bank pursuant to which Great Western Bank will <br />continue to be one of the administrators of the Plan for <br />participating employees of the City, effective the first day of <br />May, 1994; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Deferred Compensation Plan <br />Administration Agreement", by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Great Western Bank, a Federal Savings Bank, a copy of <br />which agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br />thereof is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk <br />are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest <br />thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * I {).~0tf <br /> . ... ...--.................--...-..........¡-.............-... ..',_______'_._e <br />
